Whether it is an intimate gathering or a wedding on a grand scale, you can rest assured we will apply our vast knowledge, experience and state of the art equipment in providing you with the best in Wedding Media productions

From the initial contact, we aim to provide you with a set of clear options, allowing you to choose what suits your requirements, tastes and budget. Our first consultation is an informal chat, where we learn a little about you, your ideas and requirements, while explaining how we operate and what we can do for you.

Knowing our clients allows us to provide options to suit their needs. Our clarity in service means that you know exactly what to expect from us.

With a creative and flexible attitude, we ensure that your Wedding Movie will be a hit!

Pre Production

We always do our homework. As with any production preparation is essential. We practice a streamlined workflow, which means that at any given time you can be notified of the exact stage of your Wedding Movie.

Once you have decided on your package, in addition to preparing an itinerary for the shoot, we also advise that you select a POC (Point of Contact) from your friends or family. The POC will liaise with the Cinematographer, notifying him / her, for example, when the bride is arriving, or if someone is running late etc.

This level of planning not only caters for any ‘mishaps’ on the day, but also means that you can rest assured and enjoy your day as every aspect of filming is taken care of for you.

Of course you can opt to have a POC provided for you from the Epic Media team.

Production

Our shooting method is to maintain a low profile, while our work method is to fuse documentary style filming with staged shoots. We will ‘Direct’ a few key parts of the Wedding, like the Bride’s entrance, while retaining a low profile during ceremonial practices.

On the day you will be greeted by a Cinematographer, who will follow a flexible shooting pattern.

This can be enhanced with multiple camera shoots, lighting and sound operators for speeches and messages – ensuring that every detail is seamlessly captured. We also provide Projectors and large LCD TVs for live viewing on the day.

Edit and Delivery

Our method is one of simplicity and flexibility. This means that even at the Post production stage, we welcome you to view the edited Wedding Movie, meaning should you wish to make any final changes or add extra material you can still do so, before we create your final DVD.

Working with the latest Editing suites, allows us to implement a DVD that comes with many extras as standard, such as full interactive menus, extra features, photo slideshows, titling sequence and more.

Other options can be added on, like audio layering, home footage, personalised DVD’s.

Each DVD is labelled with a unique barcode, which means even months after you Wedding movie is delivered you can re order copies at anytime.

Our recent success of ‘Mobile Trailers,’ where by you have a short trailer of your Wedding on your mobile phone, proved very popular as you can Bluetooth your clips to friends, especially if you bump in to someone who you haven’t seen in a while.

Crew

From film graduates to professionally trained crew members, your Wedding Movie is in good hands from the first contact. Our crew consists of a lively and outgoing bunch of individuals.

We are grateful to be part of the greatest day in a person’s life and to be able to share and preserve their most precious moments. We have a structured, streamlined work flow. We pride ourselves in a well defined system that we have in place.

Our crew is the backbone of our organisation and every Epic Media Movie goes through our streamlined process.

Having a network of dedicated crew for Epic Media means that not only we all undergo regular training, but by ensuring that we all work on the same platform guarantees that we have an effective workflow where your project sits as the focal point for our work.

Cinematography

Not all ‘camera- men’ are equal… The Cinematographer is the most important person in the whole production of your Wedding Movie. As he or she, on the day, will be capturing, directing and selecting the contents of your Wedding Movie and more importantly what shooting method to employ.

Cinematography is the art of telling a story through the lens – creatively! Our crew consists of professionally trained Cinematographers not ‘cameramen,’ led by experienced ‘Film Production Graduates.’

Utilizing staged, on the fly and mixed shots, with slow pans, cranes and tilts, means that you get beautifully composed ‘cinematic’ shots.

A flashy camcorder is no good if you only know how to use a couple of buttons and hope to make up for it at the editing stage.

Our crew is specifically trained on our equipment and because of this we don’t employ freelancers and neither do we work for anyone else.

The Shoot

The days of heavy camera loads with in your face ‘beam’ lights are over. Our equipment is practical and professional, same models used world over for their reliability and flexibility, by documentary makers, film makers and broadcasters.

Our on the go kits not only comprise of HD camcorders, sound kits, lighting, but can also include Chroma screens (green screen), tracks and cranes, should you require the ultimate Wedding shoot.

We specialise in multiple camera shoots, with support equipment such as live video mixers and projectors to entertain your guest on the day. We are at the forefront of new technology and more importantly know how to implement this to provide you with a practical, creative and unique product.

Post Production

Post production is our playground of creativity. Our Editors work to your pre arranged requirements to produce a harmonising balance between story telling and creativity. You can choose the theme, tempo and over feel of your Wedding Movie, giving you a flexible set of options so that your Wedding Movie is Truly Unique.

Working on Broadcast to Full HD Editing suites, means that we are always a step ahead when it comes to editing Wedding Videos. Again, like all our equipment, our Post Production platforms are so versatile and advanced that the same hardware and softwares are used world over by Documentary makers, film makers and Broadcasters, meaning we truly work on a platform to deliver Movies.
